Customer Reviews and Description This book is definitely a worthwhile read. It ties together disparate areas of research and provides well thought out theories for the path of advancement of civilizations. Definitely good brain food.

Customer Reviews and Description He expanded on an goverment entitlement that inevitably will lead to tax increases on all Americans, passed Federal goverment regulation on business that it will make it more costly for them to comply with (as a result, some companies have gone public to private because of this new regulation) and has increased the size of big goverment to a level not seen since Lyndon B. Johnson. Am I talking about a Democrat president here? No, I'm talking about Republican George W. Bush.

Customer Reviews and Description This book is good and was very helpfull in my GMAT prep. The verbal section covers alot, but its advisable to improve it over the period of time. A crash course in verbal is not possible and feasable.

Customer Reviews and Description It's a tough job to attempt to put two stories set at the same time and place but not intimately related and pull it off. This book does a pretty good job of it. It is one part history of a HUGE fair, one part true crime story, and both lend themselves to painting a gritty (but interesting) picture of late nineteenth century Chicago. I give it four stars largely because I have never been partial to true crime stories and found myself glazing through some parts about Holmes. It's a page turner!

Customer Reviews and Description I bought this one partly because I was curious as to the author's methods: how exactly did she pass as a man? There wasn't quite enough detail for my liking on this point, but I quickly forgot what I'd come for, too absorbed by the narrative -- and too busy carrying on my own mental dialogue with the author -- to worry about scrounging for technical information.

Customer Reviews and Description Maybe you have been thinking about conversations but, really, this is an enlightment. Maybe there are other methods worth of learning but this is a impressive dissection of what a conversation is, helping you to understand, perhaps for the first time, how to talk, how to chat, how to discuss, how to have a win-win conversation. There is an audiobook slightly abridged if you like.
