Customer Reviews and Description I enjoy WWN, but they outdid themselves here. This is a high-quality production in every sense. And the stories are uproarious. Complaint--there should have been more of Osama and Saddam's gay affair, which was covered hilariously in the weekly paper (the wedding album showing Osama "resplendent in patent leather shoes should have been in here!). We find out how Goliath was really killed by David (he "putteth a hit" on the big man), that Nessie is pregnant ("and Champ's the Daddy!"), and we see ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description At first I was hesitant to read this book. I thought it was another visceral Bush-bashing book. It turned out to be dispassionate and as a result powerfully persuasive.

Customer Reviews and Description I called in to Loveline one night and Drew recommended this book to me. I have since read it cover to cover several times and even lent it out to friends. It's totally involving. Even if you don't have a drug problem, you can find yourself in these pages - surely find yourself empathizing with Drew and his patients. It is so detailed that you feel that you're really there with him, seeing these people and understanding their patterns.

Customer Reviews and Description If you have extra money to waste, do me a favor - please buy my copy!.. I've purchased this audio book with the hope to stay motivated with the Body For Life program. Instead, I got SO SICK listening her annoying voice and stupid common sense bla bla! If you evere have been in the gym and tend to take care of your body - I can guarantee you - you'll know everything what you are about to "learn" from this author. Bill Phillips should demand her to change the title - it is SO misleading!

Customer Reviews and Description I purchased this book for my eight year old daughter. Not only is she a fan of playing soccer but loves Mia Hamm. Although the story was below her reading level, it made no difference to her or me! The story teaches how to be a good sport and still be competitive at the same time. I think this is an important lesson for children and adults to learn. The illustrations were adorable! The autographed photograph at the end was a bonus surprise! I didn't know that was part of the book.

Customer Reviews and Description Interested in Islam? Have a family member who is a Muslim? Curious about the faith of over one billion people? This book is ideal in granting the reader accurate information on the Islamic faith. It is easy to read and dispels many of the concepts misrepresented by the media, politicians and religious zealots. The "Question and Answer" format can be effortlessly navigated, as each answer is concise and informative. One of the best books on basic Islam I've read, and a must have for anyone seeking to understand the faith.

Customer Reviews and Description Although Paranoia has the brisk pace and intensity of a thriller and grabs you right from the very beginning, I do not considered it an interesting book, just an entertainment like a TV soap opera

Customer Reviews and Description This book tells the sad story of what happened to Native Americans (a case of genocide) in a very readable format. It is also very educational and should be mandatory for American History classes.

Customer Reviews and Description To date, the series has been told from Deborah's (first-person) point-of-view. Just under halfway through this one, the author abruptly (on audio particularly!) switches to an omniscient narrator. It becomes clear that she needs to do this in order to present information Deborah would not know until later (if at all); for the balance of the novel, the "voice" alternates. I hope that this is a one-off tactic, and fear that the series will become Deborah-and-Dwight co-mysteries. Ugh.
