Customer Reviews and Description I bought this after experiencing McGraw-Hill's SAT I book. It was comprehensive and effective, yet not boring. However, this guide is not only brief and anemic in actual content, I found myself asleep several times while reading it. The websites at the back of the book are not only inaccurate, but may actually be fake. Being a computer nerd, I found no indication that any of the websites HAD ever existed (with the exception of the College Board site); this book was published in 2002, why is there no indication ... Customer Reviews and Description I am a physician, and recently used the previous (10th) edition as an overview for a presentation I was preparing on opioid analgesics. We just got our new, 11th edition, and I embarked on a comparison of the chapters. To my astonishment, despite the considerable ongoing research in opioid pharmacology, the chapters were practically identical, with the new edition providing NO substantive new information. I cannot speak to the rest of this venerable reference, but this chapter was just a rehash (and a big disappointment).

Customer Reviews and Description I don't know maybe the way the book is organized... the small fonts make the book very unclear to follow. It is hard to follow. I had to buy another review book. Now i have Peterson AP Chem book and that book is GREaT!! but this one sucks!

Customer Reviews and Description The beauty business is wonderful, really it is. There are only a very few players that are truely dishonest when it comes to ingredients, for instance, "renaming" common ingredients. This book will help everyone keep it straight. As a beauty and lifestyle reporter, I keep it on my desk.

Customer Reviews and Description Minatrea proposes to show us what missional churches look like. While his characteristics seem to be useful and would make a good sermon series or introduction to leadership class, he largely draws on 3 or 4 Baptist churches for examples, with an occasional nod to Adam Hamilton @ the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and Brian McLaren and the emergent conversation.

Customer Reviews and Description I have read several books about the early space race and have enjoyed all of them. Gene Cernan's book is no exception. He describes his early years as a test pilot and how he strived to earn a place as an astronaut in NASA's space program. He talks eloquently about the infighting between all of the astronauts. Cernan also doesn't mince his words about how he felt about certain astronauts! That enough is enlightening.
