Customer Reviews and Description Now, now, perhaps most of you will think that this is such a childish remark and doesn't warrant being taken seriously, and that I am just ranting pointlessly.. Yes we have read the book, but quite a lot of foolish people who enjoy exploring famous people's lives really believed this demented and delirious fable. To me, this is the biggest crime of all.

Customer Reviews and Description A beautiful story of marital faithfulness and love in an age where there is precious little of the same. Only in Jesus can be found this quality of unconditional love. I also recommend McQuilkin's Life in the Spirit book and workbook. He truly knows how to live a life filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit -- and can teach us how, too!

Customer Reviews and Description Why did Mr. Bernstein come up with such a meager product?--as though someone with an "in" suggested, "Hey, there's a commercial niche for a small book on Jefferson. Give it a go." I wish he hadn't. He gave little substance either to Jefferson or his book and made factual and interpretative missteps in the bargain. Save your money.

Customer Reviews and Description THIS IS A WONDERFUL OVERVIEW OF THE AMERICAN PRESIDENTS, AND QUITE ACCURATE. I HAVE READ BIOGRAPHIES OF MOST PRESIDENTS, VISITED MOST PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARIES, AND THOUGHT DAVID WHITNEY DID A GREAT JOB ON THIS SERIES.

Customer Reviews and Description I read this book in two sittings. He did not write this book out of a desire for fortune or fame. He has plenty of both. He wrote this book out of a desire to humbly share some of the things he has learned, and is on point. His focus on accountability, values, and the workers and customers is very similar to some of our other current business heros, such as Herb Kelleher and Michael Dell. This is a must read for any manager, executive, or leader. Or anyone who aspires to something better.

Customer Reviews and Description I don't know if you can see my age, I'm a little younger than the average Sinatra but I'm a self proclaimed expert. I love him, and I could tell you any detail about him. I'm always receiving Sinatra merchandise as gifts from my friends and family.

Customer Reviews and Description Applause for author Peter Richardson for his prodigous research and enlightening prose. Carey McWilliams, possibly more than any other person, influenced hot button social and governance issues in California and America during the mid-1900s. If one really wants to know what a multi-talented activist can achieve, "American Prophet" is a must read!

Customer Reviews and Description Rebecca Solnit's A Field Guide To Getting Lost discusses experience and getting lost in the everyday, examining how people move from cities to wilderness, how they search for sense of self in an uncertain life, and how her own explorations in the world have changed her life. At once an autobiography and introspective examination, A Field Guide To Getting Lost surveys connections, ancestry, history, and modern culture in a personal odyssey of exploration.
