The subsequent journey back through time to return the little guy to his parents is not lacking in excitement at all. They meet various creatures from the ice age, the age of mammals, and the cretacious period. And the boy and his dino develop a strong friendship. The illustrations are so realistic and warm. I felt as if she was writing my life in a way (reed student, awkward kid, love of the mountains, clumsy relationships, scientist in a world of men, travel, perserverance, failure, some success all that stuff) but that is what good books are about, touching on core experiences that many can relate to. It is a coming of age memoir, my current favorite type of book.

I have to say, this season I've decided to stick with one learning method and PMTS is it. And this season, I'm skiing better than ever.
