Customer Reviews and Description Yes he is arrogant, that is ok with me, he has every right to be. I enjoyed this book because I got to know him on a different level. It was interesting to learn about his parents and how they let him "express himself" and always encouraged him. It was neat to think of him as working a minimum wage job, getting screwed by a manager etc... I do have to say that I'm not to sure about his musical choices though. but to each his own.

Customer Reviews and Description I have read all the wrestling books that have been put out and I found this one to be the best. It is not a big thank you card, or a 300 page career scrapbook, like so many of the books actually are. He tells honest stories and behind the scenes happenings.

Customer Reviews and Description This book was very different from Exupery's Little Prince which was more fast-paced and concise. This book has beautiful language and vivid imagery which makes the reader feel like they are in the pilot's seat. However, long-winded descriptions of circumstances, no matter how great they are, are quite tiresome when they go on for pages at a time. If you've got good concentration and mental energy, you'll love this book. I can only read 10 or 15 pages at a time before I get tired. Otherwise, I enjoy the book very ... Customer Reviews and Description While I am only half way thru reading "The Art of Writing Great Lyrics" I can already tell you that it is a very useful piece of literature. I have been singing since I was a child. I started writing my own songs about 5 years ago. I decided to purchase this book because I feel no matter how much natural ability you have education can NEVER hurt. I was surprised that much of what the book teaches you I already knew and practiced by instinct. It was a good feeling to know I am already doing it pretty much the way the professionals ... Customer Reviews and Description I could not put this book down, I cried, I laughed and I commiserated. Her tragicomic writing style only enhances the emotional impact of the actual content. I highly recommend this book. Overall, Jennifer Finney Boylan is a great amabassdor for the transgendered folk in our society and stands a very good chance of enhancing understanding over the media hype and featured freakiness.

Customer Reviews and Description This is an in depth look at the Earl of Rochester's life and death. I have seen the movie twice (at the premiere and then the following short run it had in LA prior to its wide release in January 06) I loved the movie and plan to see it again. I found it extremely helpful to read this book and suggest that anyone planning to see the film read this first! Rochester was a brilliant man and it is a sad but fascinating story. Some of the poems are a little difficult but that doesn't matter. The information you will gain on the man is invaluable ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description This is a great book of a man God greatly used to further His kingdom in China. Straight from his mouth, Taylor's autobiography of his pre-ecumenical life encourages believers with his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. True to Himself, God delivered His servant time after time and He will do the same for us. This book is short and to-the-point. Taylor's chapters, which often lead the reader to a Biblical theme or passage, could even be used as a daily devotional. The language, though at some points more on the archaic side, is quite ... Customer Reviews and Description At first I was hesitant to read this book. I thought it was another visceral Bush-bashing book. It turned out to be dispassionate and as a result powerfully persuasive.
