Customer Reviews and Description The amazing thing is that... this CD cost me less than a day pass at the local ski site, and saved me years of floundering around on snow. Tao (the way) of skiing is a large web site on a CD-Rom, complete with ample advise (text, images and small movies). The movies were a lot of fun and the text was straight to the point. (The way you would want to be instructed). Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the package and appreciated what it has done for me... and I'm not hung on an occasional Typo.

Customer Reviews and Description This book rules! I have read this to preschooler's and they love it. My friend taught a drama class for pre-schoolers and had them do a little dance to it with motions and sing the rhyme. The parents loved it, the kids loved it, and it was the cutest thing to watch! I definitely recommend this book to anyone with small children.

Customer Reviews and Description While probably not the best handicapping book even from the Beyer set, this is one of the more entertaining handicapping books around. You should read his earlier stuff first to see how he evolved as a handicapper to incorporate some ideas such as pace, trip, and form cycles, where earlier he had largely dismissed those. Where I spent a lot of time taking notes from other handicapping books, I spent more time turning pages and just enjoying a good read here.

Customer Reviews and Description this book would be best accompanied by an anatomy book. To really get a good visual, it's a good idea to review muscle attachments and origin sites in a(n additional) book with color.so My biggest criticism (and it's so easy to criticize) is that while many of the bones are pictured the as the actual size, there are not photographs of the bones articulated with neighboring bones. I found it hard to side bones because of this. So, it's a pretty good book in spite of my harshness, just not by itself.

Customer Reviews and Description I wasn't certain what to expect when I got this book. I was a bit concerned that since it was written about experiences in the 1960's that it would feel a bit dated. Although the 1960's view of the future of East Africa's peoples and wildlife is not entirely accurate, I am finding the book to be an excellent way to prepare for a trip to Tanzania--for someone wanting a combination of background on the peoples, landscape and wildlife. Matthiessen's usual subdued, to me, dry style seems leavened a bit by his ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description Joan Bailey does a great job of helping inexperienced people understand how to effectively train their own gun dog. Her philospohy is both simple and fun -- basically the owner takes responsibility for exposing a pup to the situations that will allow him to develop his hunting instincts. The rest is up to pup, and Joan assures readers that any well bred hunting pup will quickly begin to develop the traits he was bred to inherit. There is little need for formal training early on, and it seems that if one ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description I'm use to my children's jumbo coloring books, with cute, simple drawings and not the best quality pages or covers. This book is a step above the average coloring book. I like the added feature of the small images that show the child the "appropriate" colors. I know my eight-year-old will love this book, and I plan to buy her the other horse coloring books by Dover.
