Customer Reviews and Description This book is a pessimisitic, unflattering view of pesticides and their effects on the world. Rachel Carson seems to drone for a long time about how man is killing the world, only submitting to a positive approach on 15 out of the 300 pages. Despite this overriding negative tone, the book has some very clear strengths. The book activily explores the interlocking connections of our world, connecting life, to soil, to air, to water, and all of them together. She explains those connections by the transfer ... Customer Reviews and Description Any type of plays/readers theater are a great way to involve all students in reading. My students enjoy these stories very much. This is a great way to make reading fun for students and can be used in the classroom with reading groups/whole group or at home with different family members reading different parts, a great way to practice reading and spend time together. Readers of all ages will get a kick out of reading these very adorable plays.

Customer Reviews and Description I really enjoyed reading this book. With every rule Richard Templar stated, I kept thinking of all the times that my father told me to "have a firm handshake" and "look them in the eye when you address them". The only fatherhood statements missing from Templar's work where "have a marketable skill" and "have a safe care to drive".

Customer Reviews and Description From a therapist's point of view it was encouraging to find a guide specifically outlining the most recommended and empirically based techniques for OCD. It has already been an invaluable tool in assisting several of my clients, even those who do not suffer from compulsions but just obsessions. It not only provides you with treatment modalities but also addresses issues/concerns from the client's perspective. So far it has been a positive asset to my library.

Customer Reviews and Description This author is clearly very successful as a real estate investor and appears to have a great interest in sharing information and tactics to help new investors. His style is "down home" however my guess he is more sophisticated than portrayed in the book. I recommend this book for new RE investors.

Customer Reviews and Description This book is an eye opener. It has saved us from becoming victims of misdiagnosed thyroid disorders. I bought three books: one for myself, one for my son's doctor and one for my mother-in-law. I learn so much about why we are the way we are. Recognizing the problems is half of the battle. I just can't thank Dr. Arem enough!

Customer Reviews and Description I always enoy those shows on televiion where people are predicting the future. The overwhelming tendency is for the forecasters to predict that the future is going to continue about what it's doing now. If we're in a recession, they see nothing that looks like it's going to pull us out of the recession. If we're in a boom, the general consensus is that we are just starting a boom and that there's nothing that looks like it means the end of the boom.
