Customer Reviews and Description This is not a raunchy chronology of a porn career. This autobiography of adult film actress Jenna Jamison is honest, heart-felt, smart, & very well-written. It was a New York Times best seller...and before you finish the first chapter, you'll know why.

Customer Reviews and Description Anthony is an incredible storyteller and to hear him quote his former bosses with that New York accent "Yo!" - what a delight! I made the mistake of listening to the audio book on an airplane. I was laughing out loud and my fellow passengers didn't understand why!

Customer Reviews and Description This book is consistent with the ideas that most "wealth coaches" teach to those seeking to build their self and networth. This book is no different and what is so very remarkable is the fact that this is a very young man who became so wealthy at a early age. While most of us were thinking about going to college; he was doing what we were trying to do by going off to school in the first place.

Customer Reviews and Description "I'm thinking of asking the servants to wax my change before placing it on the Chinese tank I keep on my dresser." So goes the first sentence of Naked, another quality read by David Sedaris. From the moment I started reading the book, I knew I had chosen well.

Customer Reviews and Description For those of us who enjoyed the Band of Brothers, this book is an excellent follow up. It tells of Major Winters from when he was young to present day. You get to hear from him how things happened on D-Day. I also enjoyed reading the parts that the series got wrong. He is a hero and this book shows why.

Customer Reviews and Description This book by Jon Krakouer made for an incredible read. It was very well written, and full of suspense. I found myself rooting for the real life mountaineers to make it. Sadly enough, some did not; making this book even more emotionally wrought.

Customer Reviews and Description Give Gerald Clarke, the senior former Time Magazine contributor and author of Capote, a big hand for getting his arms around his ethereal subject, one Mr. Truman Capote, in a bear-hug, and pinning him decisively on the mat, in this immensely readable and well written expose/biography..I literally laughed out loud to myself on numerous occassions, at bitchy quotes from Capote, particularly when asked about Jacqueline Susann, at that time the author of the best selling book in the world, "Valley Of the Dolls"..Naturally, ... Customer Reviews and Description This book provides a wonderful account of how one person with autism views herself and the world. It helped clarify some perceptions I had about people with autism and is a must for service providers.

Customer Reviews and Description Sarah Vowell is one of America's best writers in the genre of humor. Personally, having read both Sedaris and Rakoff, two other fantastic humorists, I am rather partial to Vowell. Take the Cannoli seems to demonstrate her ability to both make us think and laugh. It seems that in most of her essays, I learn about as much as I laugh. Personally, I thought the title essay was extremely well done and is deserving of much praise from the literary community.

Customer Reviews and Description As a long time fan of Alan Alda, the actor, the person, the feminist, I was immensely curious about him. Listening to his autobiography, read by the man himself, was satisfying and fun.
