Customer Reviews and Description BEAUTIFUL...to find out what can and is being done with concrete. I knew that it had potential to be a beautiful art form, but did not understand how wonderful concrete could be until looking at the many photos in this delightful book.

Customer Reviews and Description I wanted a book that would provide a high level of overall understanding of SW quickly. I am new to SW. I've been teaching AutoCAD for over 4 years. I purchased this book with an understanding of the Dummy series. I was very disappointed with the lack of information for the new user. It seems that the book is targeted towards a user which has a basic understanding of the Software and that needs to understand the changes between the last version and now. I was not amused or informed.

Customer Reviews and Description The opening line of John Patrick Shanley's spectacular Pulitzer prize winning play asks the question "What do you do when you're not sure?" When you think that something may be so, but have no proof? Do you hold out for evidence, allowing your reservations to halt any action? Or do you boldly -- perhaps recklessly -- move forward on the "proof" afforded you by your gut instinct? The two sides of this argument make up the characters of Sister Aloysius Beauvier and Sister James, two nuns at a Catholic school ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description If you liked this book, then read "For Love Of Pete!" The Story of the Boy Who Played the Taps on Iwo Jima By Penelope Dyan. Both books are great tribute to our military men. There is a list of the known dead of Iwo Jima at the end of the Dyan book.

Customer Reviews and Description While Claudine's collage is inspiring, we bought the book to learn the printing technique, and it didn't work as explained. After three hours of following Claudine's instructions to the letter and $$ of supplies, we generated MUD -- undistinguishable images, and none as displayed in the book. There are no troubleshooting guidelines nor tips for successful printing. If you plan to use the book as a guide for creating xerox tansfers to paper or cloth, you'll be disappointed.

Customer Reviews and Description I am a fan of Carolyn Westbrook and her first book, "Carolyn WEstbrook Home" is one of my favorites. Her space is the cover, spine, front and interior pages of "Where WOmen Create" but yet she is not even mentioned in the editorial review by the publisher or in your reviews. Her space, being the cover, is the reason many will buy the book, and in my opinion is the best in the book, along with Wendy Addison, so shame on those you did not give her the credit she is due! Looking forward to Carolyn's next book...sure to inspire ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description

Customer Reviews and Description The spirit of one of Shakespeare's richest plays is lighthearted laughter. The great impressario of the proceedings is Puck who in giving the 'love potion' to the wrong person, sets up the chaos of both Demetrius and Lysander loving Helena. There are numerous networks of parallel and contrast through the work , between the worlds of the royal humans, the fairies, and the craftsmen. The motif of dreaming and imagination play a strong part in the play. And the resolution in all the couples finding themselves in love and harmony ... Read MoreRead Reviews and Description
