He also calls for tripling the size of America's intelligence community, reforming its election system, developing a more intelligent health care system that creates jobs and increases quality of life, and balancing the federal budget.
Rating: - A Contract As Good As the Paper It's Written On
I have not actually read this book but I think a new Contract with America is a great idea. The last Contract with America promised term limits, a balanced budget and an end to "scandal and disgrace" in Congress. I hope this contract is as successful as the last one.

With this book, Newt shows why he was labeled a poor politican but a genious when it came to public policy. Newt's ideas are refreshing in this time of bitter partisanship, in which most pundits blindly support either the right or left wings and make up facts and figures to support their policies.
