I think that they were trying to extend her latest novel into two books and did a poor job. It did not advance the plot (such as it has been lately) and I sincerely hope that Danse Macbre is better..... I can't complain, therefore, that she doesn't give me my money's worth. The book tells us nothing new about Anita but does fill in some of Micah's background. The plot otherwise is thin.
