- Great advice on comforting and loving your baby
I didn't read this until baby #2 because I heard so much criticism about "attachment" parenting. After reading it with baby #2, I realiezed the term is unfairly labeled. It is simply, "How to comfort and love your baby into feeling secure and important" parenting. It's so in tune to instinct. My baby is thriving and I'm happy. Maybe I get less sleep than "trained" babies, but I'm sooo much happier knowing that I didn't just let her "cry it out." PLEASE just read it before you try "The Baby Whisperer" ... Read More

You don't want to co-sleep or do full on attachment style parenting. Like any book you can find helpful hints without having to subscribe to the complete "system" or philosophy. Don't discredit or choose to trash a book because one little thing about it didn't appeal to you. This book is much more than a guide on attatchment parenting.
