Rating: - Perfect! Sleep - but no crying!!
My son woke up 5 or 6 times every night and would not nap at all. After three weeks following this book he goes to bed happily and sleeps until morning. Plus he NAPS!!! Yeah!!!!

Rating: - Didn't work for me.
This book had a lot of good ideas. They simply did not work for me. My son did not want to sleep unless he was being held. I ended up doing a modified Ferber: we let him cry for one minute at a time. It took two weeks, and now I have a baby who goes down to sleep smiling at seven pm, and wakes up smiling and happy at six am.

I wish I had found this book before my daughter was born, but from when she was about 9 months old it saved all of us. The suggestions are practical and offered in a take-your-pick style--there are lots of ideas and you think about what will work for your child and try them.
