by: Gregory Maguire Average Rating: ![]() Rating: - great storyGreat continuing story from his book, Wicked. Maguire keeps you captivated from beginning to end. I hate writing book "reports", so, if you liked Wicked or any of his other books, this is a keeper too. But read Wicked first. Rating: - A Worthy SequelAfter loving "Wicked" several years ago, I wondered if I would recall enough of the original to enjoy the sequel. Or even like it. After all, the original was a twist on a well-known children's story. This book was not a twist on the next OZ novel by Baum. Read More Rating: - Great Cliff-hangerThis book is a wonderful sequel to the origial story and now famous musical, Wicked. I would reccomend reading Wicked before even attempting to read this book, or else you may be caught blind throughout the main story. This is a wonderful novel, but I only gave it four stars becuase of the way it ends. I wish there was more to it, but I guess the rest of the story will just lie in my head for now. Waiting for another book....
